Pilots, set your GPS on MD1 and press Direct. Or, "IFR" pilots: from the north, follow RT 301 south past the headwaters of the Sassafras River. From the south, follow RT 301 north past the headwaters of the Chester River. The airport is half way between the two rivers, about 2.5 NM east of RT 301. The main runway is north-south (02-20), between the north-south high tension wires and the woodlands, just to the north of the Dupont Fish & Game skeet range.
