May 10 (Sat): Chili Fiesta Fly-in |
Fly in, Drive in, rain or shine, with your best chili recipe and/or hors d'oeuvre item.
This annual event attracts local towns folk, and if weather permits, a large contingent of interesting flying machines.
Festivities begin at 12 Noon and go until 4PM.

ATTENTION PILOTS:
Position reporting on 122.9 is recommended. Numerous NORDOs, see & avoid is the rule!
We like to use Runway 02 for arrivals if winds permit, as it permits easier egress from the runway.

October 10-12: Vintage Sailplane Association Visit |
Cancelled due to inclement weather. No rain date.
The Vintage Sailplane Association will hold their annual East Coast sailplane meet at Massey this October. Gliders from the 30's through 60's are expected to turn out for a long weekend of flying and hangar stories. Glider rides and biplane rides will be available - prices vary (no reservations required), with a portion being donated to the museum.

Dec 7 (Sun): 12th Annual Open Hangar Day |
This is our annual Christmas Party for the community and flying friends. Friends bring hors d'oeuvres and the airport
supplies the main course and hot cider. This is always a rain or shine event, drive or fly, from 12:00PM to 4:00PM.
As always, keep an eye out for "no-radio" aircraft. Usually, we use Runway 02 for arrival on event days,
winds permitting.
