Though the forcast was iffy, the last Saturday in April prooved great weather for Massey, Maryland. It was a scramble to get everything ready, but we were able to accomodate a lot of guests and serve a lot of chili, hot dogs and desserts. Thanks for coming and Safe Flying. EAA Chapter 240 will provide free airplane rides to kids ages 7 to 17. 11AM to 2. Parents/guardian must be present to provide permission. No rain date, but it may be rescheduled if weather is bad.

The Vintage Sailplane Association will hold their annual East Coast sailplane meet at Massey this October. Gliders from the 30's through 60's are expected to turn out for a long weekend of flying and hangar stories. Glider rides are expected to be available with a portion of each tow fee being donated to the museum. See www.vintagesailplane.org
